Alan

Alan is an eight-year-old boy from Puente Alto, Chile. Currently in Grade 3, Alan loves math and Arts and Crafts class. He says he wants to become a doctor when he’s finished school so he can help the many sick and disadvantaged people in his community. He has many friends but his best friends are Michael, Yonathan, and Javier, who he likes to go swimming with and eat pizza and chocolate cake, his favourite foods.

Alan lives with his parents and sister in a small wood home with a sheet-metal roof. His family is very poor, despite his parents efforts to make sure the family has the basic essentials. Sponsoring Alan would ease the family’s financial stress and ensure Alan can continue his studies with everything he needs to get a foundational education so he can eventually apply to medical school and become a successful doctor.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
