Annah

Annah is a resilient and hardworking 77-year-old grandmother living in Narumoru, Gatuanyaga Village, Kenya. She lives alone in a simple wooden home with a metal sheet roof. Though she manages day-to-day health challenges that prevent her from taking on heavy labor, Annah remains deeply dedicated to farming and caring for her animals, finding purpose and joy in her daily routines.

Her livestock—including a cow she milks and five goats she raises—keeps her active and fulfilled. While she lives independently, she is comforted by visits from her daughter, who lives in a nearby village and checks in on her regularly. Annah is deeply faithful, giving thanks for her health, her years, and the opportunity to connect with a sponsor.
