Alliet

Alliet is a gentle 76-year-old grandmother who lives in a metal sheet home in Narumoru, Mwichuiri Village, Kenya. Widowed many years ago, she resides with her son, Reuben, as well as her granddaughter, Faith, and grandson, Francis, who assist in caring for her. Though Alliet used to farm and enjoys taking care of animals, health challenges—including high blood pressure and a chest condition requiring medication and regular clinic visits—prevent her from working today.

Despite these physical limitations, Alliet maintains a loving, faithful heart and expresses deep gratitude for the support she receives, promising to keep her sponsor in her prayers. Having dedicated her life to her family and community, she finds strength in the daily care and presence of her loved ones.

Sponsorship enables elders to eat well, access healthcare and medication, and connect socially with a community that fosters a sense of belonging.
