Anastasiia

Anastasiia is a smart, creative, and sociable 7-year-old girl living in Lutsk City in Western Ukraine. Currently a dedicated first-grade student, she loves going to school each morning and especially enjoys her art classes, where she loves drawing and coloring. In her free time, Anastasiia stays highly active by attending school clubs for sculpting, drawing, and dancing, holding a beautiful dream to one day become a professional dancer when she grows up.

She lives with her mother, Olha, who is raising her completely on her own following a divorce. The two share a rented brick apartment with a cement roof. Olha works hard as a factory sales hall cashier to provide for them, but because her salary is barely enough to cover rent and food, the family faces immense financial strain amid rising inflation and the ongoing war. Additionally, Anastasiia copes with a weakened immune system and a congenital stomach condition that prevents her from tolerating pills or syrups, frequently requiring expensive hospital stays and IV treatments for bad colds.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
