Alyanna

Alyanna is both studious and determined. At 14 years old, Alyanna is already thinking of a career in nursing. Living in Tondo, Philippines, she is diligent in her Grade 8 studies, where her favourite subjects are TLE (Technology and Livelihood Education), English, Filipino, and Values Education. When Alyanna is not hitting the books, you will find her with her best friends, Edely, Rein, and Tindock, usually making TikTok videos, listening to music, chatting, or just watching TV together.

Alyanna also enjoys dancing, but she is very focused on her studies because she is determined to fulfil her dream of becoming a nurse so she can help doctors take care of sick people.

Coming from a large family of six children, Alyanna’s parents work very hard to take care of the family. Her father works as a parking attendant, and although he works many hours, his income is not enough to support the family’s daily needs. Their financial situation also makes it difficult to cover all of Alyanna’s school fees. Being part of the sponsorship program would be a great relief to this family and would ensure Alyanna can continue her education with all the academic resources she needs to be successful and achieve her goal of becoming a nurse.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
