Ali

Ali is eight years old and lives in Patanani, Kenya where he is currently in Grade 2. He likes his language arts and math classes, but he really loves reading story books. Ali’s big dream is to become a pilot, which is why he takes his studies seriously. Ali lives with his grandparents, sister, uncles, and aunt and is very determined to help his family overcome poverty one day. When Ali is not studying he enjoys watching soccer.

The large extended family lives in a small dirt home with a sheet-metal roof. Being part of the sponsorship program would make a big difference in Ali’s life and would help to ensure he is able to continue in school so he can eventually achieve his goal of becoming a pilot.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
