Alexis

At 10 years old, Alexis dreams of becoming a professional soccer player. Living in Villa Hayes, Paraguay, Alexis is in Grade 4, where he loves math class. He is also an avid painter, and enjoys art class. When Alexis is not painting or solving math problems, he loves playing soccer with his friends. .

Alexis lives with his sister and mother in their small brick home with a sheet-metal roof. His mother raises the two children on her own and while she does her best, it can be hard raising two young children with limited income.

The family is often without enough monthly income to cover basic expenses, including the necessary school supplies. Sponsoring Alexis would go a long way to ensuring his mother can keep him in school and see his dreams become a reality.
