Alexa is a cheerful 8-year-old girl living in Bulacan, Philippines. She is currently in grade 2, where her favorite subjects are history and literature. In her free time, Alexa loves drawing, reading, and playing traditional games with her friends. Inspiring to share her love for education with others, she dreams of becoming a teacher when she grows up so she can help children learn.

She lives with her family in a cement home with a metal sheet roof. Her father works as a houseboy and her mother works cleaning a resort to support the household. Because both parents work hard in modest jobs to provide for the family, managing daily necessities and educational expenses creates ongoing financial strain.
