Yuliia is an 11-year-old girl from Lutsk City, Ukraine. She especially loves art class and enjoys drawing and colouring, often inspired by the beauty of flowers. She also attends additional vocal and drawing classes and enjoys singing in her free time. Yuliia is a diligent student who works hard in her studies. When she grows up, she hopes to become an artist. She lives with her parents, three brothers, and sister in a brick house with an asbestos roof. Her parents work hard—her mother as a shop assistant and her father as an agricultural machinery operator—but their income is not always enough to meet the family’s needs.
Yuliia has a weakened immune system and often becomes ill. Her family also faces the ongoing challenges of war, including frequent power outages due to attacks on energy infrastructure. Despite these hardships, Yuliia remains creative, hopeful, and continues to pursue her dreams with courage and determination.
