Dorcas

Dorcas is a 4-year-old girl from Ngungani, Kenya. She is a happy and creative child who loves her language arts and mathematics classes. In her free time, she enjoys drawing and modeling items like pots and cups out of clay. When she grows up, she hopes to become a teacher.

She lives with her parents, two brothers, and two sisters in a brick house with a sheet metal roof. Her family faces significant challenges due to a lack of rain in the region, which has made it difficult for her father to find steady work that sustains the family. Despite these hardships, Dorcas remains grateful and enthusiastic about her education.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
