Yazmín

Yazmín is a sweet five-year-old girl living in Santa Isabel, Peru, a remote village in the Pacora district. Yazmín is currently in kindergarten and is looking forward to primary school. She loves animals, whether it is drawing them or playing with her three little dogs. Her favourite game is jump rope, which she likes to play as often as she can.

Yazmín lives with her mother, three brothers, and sister in a small home. The village only recently installed electricity but has no sewage or running water, so the family relies on water delivery twice a month. Yazmín’s mother is a single parent and her wages are minimal, making it difficult to support her family’s needs. Being part of the sponsorship program would be a big help to Yazmín’s mother and would ensure she is able to continue school with everything she needs to be successful.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
