Yadira

Yadira is a 5-year-old girl from Comunidad Victorias, Guatemala. She is in kindergarten and especially loves art classes. Yadira enjoys painting, playing with dolls, and spending time with her cousins and siblings. She is a shy but active child who loves chasing chickens in the backyard and using her imagination to make clothes for her dolls. She enjoys eating fruits and vegetables, especially watermelon, and her favourite colour is red. When she grows up, Yadira hopes to become a doctor so she can care for children. She lives with her parents, brother, and sister in a sheet metal house with a sheet metal roof. Yadira is a gentle and creative young girl with a joyful spirit and big dreams for the future. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
