Sofia

Sofía is an 8-year-old girl living in Santiago, Paraguay. She is a highly creative student who loves art class, enjoys colouring, and dreams of becoming an artist when she grows up. She also loves going to school to play and make new friends, and some of her absolute favorite things to eat are bread with guava jam, pizza, and rice with sauce.

She lives with her parents in a home constructed of brick with a metal sheet roof. Sofía’s mother, Dahiana, notes that she is incredibly grateful for the opportunity sponsorship brings, sharing that Sofía is a joyful child who is doing wonderfully in school and particularly loves her math class.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
