Merlin

Merlin is a 7-year-old girl living in Thanjavur, India. She is a bright student who loves both her language arts and mathematics classes, and she dreams of becoming a nurse when she grows up. In her free time, she enjoys drawing and playing hide-and-seek with her friends.

She lives in a small house constructed of brick with an asbestos roof alongside her father and two sisters. Merlin comes from a large family facing significant challenges, as her mother has low vision and is unable to work, and her father struggles to support everyone on his limited income as a daily wage laborer while also managing daily medication for diabetes.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
