Rohit

Rohit is a very imaginative 11-year-old boy from Honda, India. He is in Grade 5 and loves his language arts class and reading, especially storybooks. He has three best friends, Sydeep, Deepanshu, and Joy, and they like playing soccer together. When he finishes school, Rohit wants to be a military officer.

Rohit lives with his parents and brother. His father is a truck driver and his mother stays home to care for the family. While his father works long hours, the wages are minimal, so the family struggles to make ends meet. Being part of the sponsorship program would help ease their financial strain and would ensure that Rohit is able to continue his studies and achieve his goal of becoming a military officer after graduation.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
