Rhyame

This sweet eight-year-old girl is Rhyame. She lives in Poblacion, a barangay in Pulilan, Philippines. She is a very happy Grade 2 student, who loves to learn, especially math. Rhyame also likes drawing and enjoys biking near her house with friends after school. As the oldest of her two siblings, Rhyame likes to help her parents with the household chores. After finishing her studies, Rhyame has a big dream of becoming a teacher so she can help others learn.

Rhyame lives with her parents, brother, and sister in a home her grandparent’s own. It has three rooms that are shared by two other families. It is often very loud and crowded. Her father is a construction worker but the work is irregular and the income meager, while her mother stays at home to care for the children, who are not in school yet. With the irregular income Rhyame’s father is able to earn, he finds it challenging to meet the family’s daily needs.

For Rhyame, sponsorship would be a wonderful opportunity that would not only help ease this struggling family’s financial burden, but also ensure she can continue in school to gain a foundational educational that will allow her to achieve her full potential and her goal of becoming a teacher.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
