Ananya

Ananya is a bright and enthusiastic young girl from Makkuva, India. Although she is just eight years old and in Grade 2, Ananya already knows she wants to be a doctor when she finishes her studies so she can help others feel better. Her teachers say she is full of promise and potential and is always positive in nature and eager to learn. Ananya loves literature class and her favourite hobby is drawing. In her free time, Ananya also likes to play skip rope with her friends.

Ananya lives with her parents, brother, and sister. The family is very close and loving, but faces financial challenges that make it difficult for them to make ends meet, especially with the children’s school fees. Being part of the Chalice sponsorship program would be an incredible opportunity for Ananya and would help ease this struggling family’s financial worries. It would also ensure Ananya is able to continue her studies where she will gain the educational foundation she needs to eventually achieve her goal of becoming a doctor.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
