Mikeyla

Mikeyla is an affectionate and hardworking 10-year-old girl living in Bolivia. She is currently in grade 4, where mathematics and science and technology are her favorite subjects. Mikeyla is a creative and multi-talented child who enjoys reading, listening to music, drawing, painting, baking, and playing basketball. She also loves spending time in the countryside helping her grandfather, caring for her family’s pets, and dreams of opening an animal shelter one day. Driven by a desire to excel, she works hard in school and aspires to become an engineer or architect when she grows up.

She lives in an adobe home with a calamine roof alongside her mother, infant brother, and grandfather. Supporting a multi-generational household with a newborn creates significant financial pressure, making it difficult to stretch the family budget to cover routine household expenses and essential learning supplies.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
