Mateo

Mateo is a creative seven-year-old living in Ñanducua, a small community near San Pedro Del Ycuamandyju, Paraguay. He is now in Grade 1, where he is especially enjoying his art class because his favourite things to do are drawing and painting. In his free time, he really enjoys playing soccer with his friends. When Mateo graduates from school, he has big dreams of becoming a police officer.

Mateo lives with his aunt, uncle, and cousin. Mateo’s mother left when he was young, so his aunt is his primary care giver. She stays at home to care for the children. Being part of the sponsorship program would be a wonderful opportunity for Mateo and be a big help to his aunt. It will help relieve some of the financial stress the family feels with education fees, and allow Mateo to continue his studies to get the education he needs to become a successful police officer one day.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
