Jaimpier

Jaimpier is a very creative and curious 10-year-old from Los Pedregales, a small community near Monsefú, Peru. He is now in Grade 5, where his favourite thing to do is to present his many science projects. He loves making crafts from recycled materials, which is why art is his other favourite subject. When Jaimpier is not in school, he likes to listen to music and play soccer with his friends. He hasn’t quite decided on a career when he finishes school, but he does know he either wants to become a lawyer or police officer.

Jaimpier lives with his parents and brother. Their community lacks electricity, water, and sewage. His father works as a construction worker, while his mother prepares and sells food at the local bus stop. Both his parents work hard to care for the family’s needs, but work can be inconsistent and their earnings minimal. Being part of the sponsorship program would be a wonderful opportunity for Jaimpier and his family. It would greatly help relieve the financial strain of educational costs and would ensure Jaimpier is able to get the education he will need to eventually pursue his lofty career goals.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
