Mary

Mary lives with her parents, brother, and two older sisters in a dirt hut in Nakuru, Kenya. She is currently in preschool and loves language arts classes the best. The family relies on farming and casual jobs to cover their basic expenses – however, employment has been difficult and they are not always able to cover everything. This five year old dreams of becoming a doctor when she grows up. When she had free time, Mary likes to play hide and seek with her friends. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
