Misheal

Misheal is a jovial, intelligent, and active seven-year-old girl living in Mpika, Zambia. She is a bright student who performs exceptionally well in school, where her favorite subjects are Science, English, and Mathematics. In her free time, she loves reading, playing netball, and playing local games with her friends. Misheal is a hard worker who dreams of becoming a nurse or a teacher when she grows up so she can give back to her community.

She lives with her single mother in a brick home with a metal sheet roof. Misheal is a wonderful helpmate, happily assisting her mother with chores like sweeping, fetching water, and tending to their small vegetable garden. Because the family’s income from selling surplus vegetables is highly limited, covering basic daily necessities and school expenses is a constant struggle.
