Esther

Esther is a focused 13-year-old girl living in Kasisi, Zambia. She loves school and enjoys her classes, especially home economics, mathematics, and social studies. In her free time, she loves drawing, playing games like football, and spending time with her best friends, Blessings and Memory. Esther is highly motivated to complete her secondary education because she deeply dreams of becoming a soldier so she can protect many lives.

She lives in a brick home with a metal sheet roof alongside her extended family, including her mother, her young brother Noah, her grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Her parents do not live together, and her father provides no support, while her mother is currently unemployed. The household relies entirely on her grandmother, who sells vegetables to try to make ends meet. Because their income is extremely limited, providing for basic daily needs and school costs is a constant financial strain. A steady sponsorship will bring profound relief to her family, ensuring Esther receives the clothing, nutrition, and learning materials she needs to stay safely in school.
