Lucas

Lucas is an outgoing and highly motivated 9-year-old boy who is currently thriving in the fourth grade. He is an excellent student who loves to study independently, takes great pride in earning top grades, and has a creative passion for drawing and painting. A friendly and talkative boy, he easily makes new friends at school, loves playing soccer, and holds a wonderful dream of becoming a hairdresser when he grows up.

He lives with his parents in a household where both mother and father work hard to make ends meet through informal labor. His mother bakes and sells traditional chipa around the neighborhood, while his father works as an occasional driver whenever work is available, making the family’s income highly unstable. The sponsorship program provides a critical foundation for this dedicated young student, offering the consistent resources and stability his family needs to ensure he can keep focusing on his education.
