Liz

Liz is a dedicated 12-year-old Grade 7 student from San Pedro De Ycuanmandijú, Paraguay. Liz does well in school but says she wants to improve her grades so she can reach her goal of becoming a doctor and help her family. When she is not studying, Liz likes writing. She also likes playing soccer with her friends and her sister. Liz says she is a big fan of her mother’s mashed potatoes.

Liz lives with her parents, brother, and three sisters. While her parents do their best to support the children’s basic needs, the meager wages they earn make it challenging, especially with the children’s school fees. Sponsoring Liz would allow her to focus on her studies and gain the educational foundation she needs to attend post-secondary school and eventually become a doctor.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
