Joyce

Joyce is a motivated 13-year-old girl living in Chikwanda, Mpika, Zambia. She is a dedicated student who loves science class and enjoys reading in her free time. Committed to working hard in her studies to secure a successful future, Joyce holds a wonderful dream of becoming a teacher when she grows up.

She lives with her parents, two brothers, and three sisters in a temporary home constructed of plastic with a thatched roof. Providing for a large household of eight family members under such precarious living conditions presents a severe and constant financial struggle for her parents. The sponsorship program provides a critical lifeline for Joyce and her family, offering the consistent resources and stability needed to ensure she can stay healthy and safely focus on her education.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
