Jenifère

Jenifère is a sweet and hardworking 10-year-old girl living in Jeremie, Haiti. She is currently in grade 5, where mathematics is her favorite subject. Jenifère is an outgoing child who loves playing soccer, spending time with her friends, and enjoying meals of rice and meat. Inspired by a desire to help others heal, she works hard in school and dreams of becoming a nurse when she grows up.

She lives with her parents in a home constructed with metal sheet walls and a plastic roof. Her father works as a farmer while her mother works as a small merchant. Relying on modest agricultural and trade earnings makes meeting daily household expenses and covering school supplies a constant financial challenge.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
