Guissel

Guissel is a happy, cheerful, and loved 6-year-old girl living in Bolivia. She is currently in kindergarten, where mathematics is her favorite subject. Guissel is a dedicated young student who takes pride in doing her homework, learning the alphabet, counting, and practicing addition. She enjoys playing kitchen games with her aunt, feeding her grandfather’s pet parrot, playing soccer with her family, and caring for her adopted dog, Rigo. Inspired by her love for building and creating, she dreams of becoming an architect when she grows up.

She lives in a brick home with a calamine roof alongside her mother, brother, and sister. Her mother works hard to protect and raise three children on a single household income. Relying on one parent to support a family of four makes covering everyday living expenses, purchasing clothing, and funding essential school supplies a continuous financial challenge.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
