Grace

Grace is a quiet and friendly 87-year-old woman living in Nanyuki, Kenya, where she resides in a wood home with a metal sheet roof. She enjoys fetching firewood and finds great joy in interacting with the children in her community. In her younger days, she worked hard doing casual labor to contribute to her household, but she is now unable to work due to her advanced age.

As an elderly matriarch, Grace lives alongside her family, which includes her son and daughter. The household relies on her children’s efforts to make ends meet, which poses a severe challenge as they struggle to find steady income and provide for their daily needs.
