Faith

Faith is a very responsible and caring 14-year-old girl from Inaon, Philippines. Faith loves math and although she is still in Grade 8, she knows she wants to be an accountant after finishing school. She takes school seriously and always studies hard, understanding that school will help her achieve her dreams. She likes to help around the home when she finishes her homework, often doing the dishes and sweeping the floor for her mother.

Faith is the youngest of three siblings, all of whom are in school — the eldest sibling in college and the middle sibling in Grade 10. Faith’s father works as a driver, while their mother is a stay-at-home mom, taking care of the family. As the sole provider, the father’s income is not  enough to pay for the basic essentials for his family.

Being included in the Chalice program would be a great help to Faith and her family and ensure Faith continues her education with a solid foundation for post-secondary school, where she can achieve her goal of becoming an accountant.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
