Ezekiel

Ezekiel is 22 years old and lives in a remote rural area of Mbinga, located in the southwestern corner of Tanzania. He is in his third year of college, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Transport and Logistics Management Degree that he hopes to use to become a Transport Officer. Ezekiel also hopes to graduate soon.

Ezekiel lives with his parents and sister, and is the youngest of three children. His father works as a mechanic when he is able to find work. The little income he does earn is not sufficient to provide the basic needs his family requires. Although his parents want Ezekiel to get a good education, they are not able to cover the fees for his school and class materials, often missing payments, something that is putting his education at risk.

Being part of the sponsorship program would be an amazing opportunity for Ezekiel, as it would ensure he is able to finish college and graduate with a degree. This would allow him to pursue a stable career and wage that would help him become self-sufficient and break the cycle of poverty in his family.
