Cristine

Cristine is in her first year of university. She is 18 years old and lives in Tondo, Philippines. When she is not studying, Cristine likes to spend time with her best friends, Veronica, Acie, Angel, and Sonny. She also enjoys drawing, playing board games, and writing in her journal. Cristine is working hard at school because she has a goal of becoming a registered nurse so she can provide kind and gentle healthcare services to people.

Cristine lives with her parents and two brothers in a small, old home in need of repair. Her father works as a delivery driver, while her mother is a vendor in Divisoria, but their combined incomes barely cover their daily needs, not including the tuition and other fees related to Cristine’s schooling. Being part of the sponsorship program would be an amazing opportunity for Cristine as it would ensure she can continue her university studies and eventually achieve her goal of becoming a nurse.

Sponsorship helps post-secondary students cover their tuition and living expenses so that they can focus on their studies and achieve their dreams.
