Cristian

Cristian is an eager 15-year-old boy from San Pedro de Ycuamandiju, Paraguay. He is currently in Grade 8 and really enjoys math class — and studying in general because he wants to become a teacher when he graduates. Cristian also enjoys playing soccer with his friends when they have free time. And like most teenagers, he is a big fan of pizza.

Cristian lives with his mother, two brothers, and sister in a small home. As a single parent, Cristian’s mother does her best to support her children. His older brother works to also support the family, but the minimal income they are able to make is not enough to cover their basic needs, including the children’s school fees and supplies. Sponsoring Cristian would allow him to focus on his studies and gain the educational foundation he will need to attend a post-secondary school, so he can achieve his goal of becoming a teacher and better his and his family’s lives.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
