Carl Junior

Carl Junior is a bright 7-year-old boy who is currently thriving in the second grade. He is an enthusiastic student who loves math and social studies, and he enjoys playing with his friends. Driven by a compassionate heart, he dreams of becoming a nurse when he grows up so he can help care for the sick in his community.

He lives with his parents and two sisters in a metal sheet home. His mother works as a saleswoman and his father works as a mechanic. While both parents work hard, providing for a large family on unstable incomes makes balancing daily necessities and education costs a constant financial struggle.
