Brazon

Brazon is a curious and hard-working 6-year-old boy living in Meru, Kenya. He is currently in preschool, where art is his favorite subject. Brazon is an active child who loves discovering new things around him, playing with his peers, and playing hide-and-seek. Inspired to help other children learn, he works hard both at home and at school and dreams of becoming a teacher when he grows up.

He lives with his parents and two brothers in a wooden home with a metal sheet roof. His family relies wholly on casual labor on other people’s farms and subsistence farming on a small piece of land to provide food for the household. Relying on a small, irregular income makes meeting basic family needs and keeping up with school fees a constant struggle, often leaving Brazon in and out of school.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
