Batualanaa

Batualanaa is a 9-year-old girl living in Loggu, Ghana. She finds great joy in her science classes and loves playing football and ampe, a local game, with her friends. She is an ambitious young girl who dreams of becoming a nurse when she grows up.

She lives with her mother and three brothers in a home constructed of brick with a metal sheet roof. Due to difficult financial circumstances, her mother struggles to provide Batualanaa with the education she needs to reach her full potential. Batualanaa’s enthusiasm for learning and her dedication to her community reflect her resilient and hopeful spirit.
