Ayyanar

Ayyanar is an ambitious 11-year-old boy living in the village of Veppur, India. He is currently in grade 5 at Panchayat Union Primary School, where language arts and Tamil are his favorite subjects. An active and hardworking student, Ayyanar loves cycling, playing cricket with his best friends Sathish and Jeeva, and studying hard every day. He holds a big dream for his future, aspiring to become an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer so he can serve his country.

He lives with his parents and two elder sisters in a cement home with an asbestos roof. His father works hard as a tea seller to provide for the household, while his mother manages the home and cares for the family. Because the family relies on a single modest income to support three growing children, managing daily needs and ongoing school expenses presents a constant challenge. Sponsoring Ayyanar relieves this financial strain and gives him the stable foundation he needs to focus on his studies.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
