Avraam

This sweet little boy is seven years old and is looking forward to finishing kindergarten so he can go to primary school. Avraam and his four siblings live in Ternopil, Ukraine, where life is very unpredictable because of the ongoing war. Despite this, Avraam is always happy and loves school, already able to do small math problems.

When not in school, Avraam and his best friends, Denys and Tymofiy, spend their time playing soccer and riding their bikes. This loving and kind boy is also an avid dancer, regularly taking part in folk dances. He dreams of becoming a professional dancer and prays for the war to end.

Avraam’s father struggles with alcohol addiction, so his mother is left to care for the five children, which can be very hard with five children under 13. Sponsoring Avraam would go a long way to helping this family ease some of their financial stress and ensure Avraam can continue to have what he needs for school.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
