Artem

Artem is an ambitious and dedicated 14-year-old boy living in Kovel City, Ukraine. He is an excellent student in the eighth grade who loves computer science and physical education, and he is already highly motivated to study hard so he can achieve his big dream of becoming a programmer. He is also a helpful youth who takes pride in supporting his family around the house.

He lives with his single mother and younger brother in a multi-generational brick household. His parents are divorced, and while his father offers occasional support, the primary financial responsibility falls on his mother, who works hard as a sales assistant to provide the daily essentials on a limited income. The ongoing challenges of the region, combined with supporting a large household, place a heavy economic strain on the family, making the sponsorship program a vital source of stability to ensure Artem can safely pursue his education and achieve his future goals.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
