Anhelina

Anhelina is a creative and active 7-year-old girl living in Kovel, Ukraine. Currently a dedicated first grader, she loves drawing, coloring, making paper collages, and attending Sunday school. Her favorite subjects include reading, writing, and exploring the world. Anhelina is also deeply community-minded, frequently participating in events to support the local community. When she grows up, she dreams of becoming a teacher.

She lives with her parents and young brother in a shared multigenerational home made of wood with an asbestos roof. Due to the severe economic challenges brought on by the war, securing steady employment is incredibly difficult, leaving the family with an unstable budget. The household relies on sporadic income, which makes balancing daily necessities and school supplies a constant challenge. Managing these tight expenses alongside regular necessities presents a continuous hurdle, making consistent support vital to ensuring Anhelina can stay safe, healthy, and focused on her education.
