Alan

Alan is a motivated 14-year-old boy living in Puente Alto, Chile. He is currently a dedicated seventh-grade student who does well in school, with a strong passion for math and physical education class. In his free time, Alan loves playing soccer and spending time with his friends, and he works hard toward his ultimate dream of becoming a professional soccer player so he can support his family in the future.

He lives with his mother in a wooden home with a metal sheet roof located within a camp setting. His mother works tirelessly as a cleaner in private homes to support the two of them. Because the household relies entirely on a single, informal income from domestic work, managing daily necessities alongside the rising costs of education presents a constant financial hurdle.
