Abigail

Abigail is a creative 11-year-old girl living in Mapusa, India. Currently in the fifth grade at Holy Cross High School, she enjoys mathematics, making crafts, and playing football. She is also a helpful daughter who likes assisting her mother with daily household chores. Inspired by her aunts, Abigail hopes to become a teacher when she grows up.

She lives with her mother and sister at her maternal grandmother’s home. As a single-income household, the family faces significant financial pressure when trying to balance daily living expenses with the costs of education. Covering the essential school supplies and fees for the children presents a constant hurdle, making steady support vital to ensuring Abigail can stay focused on her studies.
