Art With a Mission: 45 Sacred Masterpieces up for Auction – Chalice

Running from September 18 at 6 p.m. AST to October 2 at 6 p.m. AST, this online auction gives you the chance to bid on a remarkable collection of high-value lithographs (lithos) and other sacred artwork. The collection was graciously donated by an avid art enthusiast and long-time Chalice donor and sponsor to help raise funds for vulnerable children and elders across our sponsor sites.

The collection includes a variety of framed and unframed lithographs, prints and other artwork, featuring beautiful depictions of Jesus, Mary, saints and other sacred subjects. Highlights include a lithograph of “Baby Jesus Asleep” (framed 21.5” x 17.5”), “Mother Mary,” a brass rubbing from St. Mary’s Church in London, England (framed 37” x 26”), and an unframed lithograph of “Jesus with Crown of Thorns” (16.5” x 12.5”).

Please note: The artworks in this auction are lithographs, prints or other reproductions and are not original paintings. Many are high-value, beautifully presented copies of sacred artwork, offering an opportunity to bring meaningful religious art into your home while supporting a meaningful cause.

This fantastic collection is more than a generous gift. Together with the funds raised through the auction, it will help support vulnerable children and families across the 13 countries and 51 sites where Chalice works. This gift is truly a blessed gesture that will bring lasting change to so many individuals.

You can view the collection prior to the official auction opening starting September 10. Opening bids for the pieces will start at 6 p.m. AST on September 18 and close October 2 at 6 p.m. AST.
