Fritz is a father of five who has always believed in the dignity of work. Known for his kind and respectful nature, he once took pride in providing for his family through his own efforts. Today, that role has been taken from him—not by choice, but by a long and painful illness that has gradually weakened his body and his ability to care for those who depend on him.

For years, Fritz has lived with persistent gastrointestinal pain. What began as discomfort has evolved into a serious condition involving a gastric ulcer, ongoing infection, and complications that affect his daily life. The pain is constant, often leaving him exhausted and unable to move freely. Eating has become a challenge, as he must avoid certain foods he simply cannot afford to replace with alternatives. At times, the struggle is so overwhelming that he fears for his life.

Despite seeking treatment before, relief never truly came. When his condition worsened, he found the courage to ask for help. Medical evaluations revealed the depth of his illness—he now requires continued treatment, frequent follow-ups, and a surgical procedure to address a painful rectal prolapse that adds to his suffering.

At home, his family faces this reality together. They live in a modest, unfinished house, doing their best to support one another. His wife takes on small trading activities when possible, but the income is not enough to meet the needs of a household of seven. With Fritz unable to work, the burden has grown heavier with each passing day.

Even as treatment has begun to ease some of his symptoms, his recovery remains incomplete. He continues to endure pain and uncertainty, knowing that without completing the next stage of care, his condition may worsen again.

Fritz’s story is one of endurance—a father who longs to regain his strength, not only for himself, but for the family that depends on him. With compassionate support, he can complete his treatment, find relief from his suffering, and begin to reclaim his role within his family.

Thank you for your compassion and for taking the time to think about those in need.
