Juncle is a cheerful and active young boy who finds joy in playing with friends and helping his family. Despite growing up without his mother, he has remained loving, responsible, and full of life. His days were often spent at school and playing sepak takraw, surrounded by laughter and simple happiness.
Everything changed one afternoon when a moment of play turned into a painful accident. While running and jumping with friends, Juncle misstepped and fell hard onto a concrete surface. He felt immediate and intense pain in his knee but, out of fear of being scolded, kept his injury to himself. For days, he endured the worsening pain in silence as swelling increased and his body weakened.
When the pain became unbearable, his family sought help, initially believing it to be a simple sprain. But medical tests revealed a far more serious condition—a bone fracture. Even more concerning, part of his knee showed abnormalities that required further investigation to rule out possible complications.
Doctors were unable to proceed immediately with a permanent solution. Instead, bone cement was applied to stabilize the fracture, while Juncle now waits for a specialized procedure to install a metal support that could allow him to walk again. Until then, he remains at home, unable to move freely, separated from the activities and friendships that once filled his days.
His father works tirelessly in multiple jobs just to provide the basics, yet the ongoing medical needs, travel for treatment, and recovery process have placed a heavy strain on the family. Still, they continue to hope— for healing, for strength, and for the chance to see Juncle run and smile again.
Your compassion can help restore not only Juncle’s mobility, but also his childhood—the freedom to play, learn, and dream without pain.
Thank you for taking the time to reflect on Juncle’s journey and for your heartfelt willingness to support children and families in need.
