Yvone

Yvone is an 8-year-old girl who lives in Mwalubemba, Zambia. She is in grade 2 and especially enjoys her language arts class. Yvone loves going to school and learning new things, and she enjoys playing local games with her friends. She is a helpful and enthusiastic child who supports her grandmother with household chores whenever she can. Yvone dreams of becoming a nurse when she grows up. Yvone lives in a brick home with a metal sheet roof, together with her grandmother. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
