Yeremi

Yeremi is very caring and bright little six-year-old boy living in Puente Alto, Chile. Although he’s just in Grade 1, it makes sense that with his very empathetic and loving heart, he already has his sights set on becoming a doctor. Yeremi loves school and learning and especially likes his teachers, who encourage him in his favourite subjects, math and science.

Yeremi is a healthy child, eagerly eating fresh fruits and drinking natural juices, which are his favourite. He is also a big soccer fan, and when they are not in school, he and his two best friends, Tomás and Vicente, can be found outside kicking the soccer ball around and playing as long as they can.

Yeremi is an only child who lives with his mother in a camp, where their small home is made of wood and sheet-metal roofing. While his mother is a single parent, she does everything she can to ensure Yeremi always has what he needs to remain healthy and stay in school. It can be hard for her though as her income is usually not enough to cover their expenses.

Yeremi’s mother’s biggest dream is to one day see him receive his diploma. Sponsoring Yeremi would go a long way to helping his mother ensure he can continue in school and eventually attend university, so he can achieve his lifelong goal of becoming a doctor and his mother can see her dream of holding a picture of her son with his diploma become a reality!
