Yasmine

Yasmine lives in a dirt house with a thatched roof in Narok, Kenya. She lives with her father, four brothers, and two sisters. Yasmine is an excellent student who is currently in grade nine – mathematics and science are her favourite subjects. This motivated student was in an accident years ago where she required neurosurgery, she knew then and there that she wanted to be a neurosurgeon when she grew up. When she is not busy with school work, she enjoys reading, encouraging people, and making bracelets. Her mother recently left the family, and so the seven children are under the care of the father who also works very hard to cover all of the family expenses. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
