Yasmine

Yasmine lives at the Starhe girls boarding school in Kenya. She has six siblings. She is currently in grade nine and her favourite subjects are math and science. When she grows up, she wants to be a neurosurgeon! She was inspired by the neurosurgeron who operated on her when she had an accident. Yasmine has excellent academic performance and she enjoys encouraging people do to their best. She is determined to work hard so that she can change her family’s situation. Yasmine likes beadwork, making bracelets, and reading. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
