Tyson

Tyson is a 1-year-old boy from Chiclayo, Peru. He is a playful and cheerful toddler who enjoys playing with toy cars and his colourful ball. Tyson lives with his parents, brother, and sister in an adobe house with a calamine roof in a community without reliable basic services. During heavy rains, the area can flood, making daily life more challenging. His father works in a sack factory, and his mother cares for the family while also finding small ways to earn extra income. Tyson’s mother hopes to build a better future for her children with the support they receive. Tyson is a joyful little boy, full of energy and curiosity, with a bright future ahead. Sponsorship enables parents and caregivers to give their toddlers safe and happy years before starting school through improved nutrition, timely healthcare, and strong community support.
