Thiago

Thiago is a disciplined 10-year-old boy living in Chiclayo, Peru. He is an earnest fifth-grade student who loves his mathematics class and dreams of becoming a police officer when he grows up, believing that staying disciplined is the best way to achieve his goals. Thiago is a very active boy who enjoys drawing, playing soccer, and eating his favorite fruit, apples.

He lives with his parents and his brother in a rented home constructed of adobe with a calamine roof in the Manuel Arévalo settlement. His family works incredibly hard to overcome their financial hardships, with his mother working part-time as a barbershop assistant and his father taking on whatever work is available, alternating between construction jobs and plucking chickens at a poultry farm.
